Sarteano and Cetona Nature Reserve

Sarteano and Cetona are immersed in biodiversity. In additional to a nature reserve, the land is very varied and marks the boundary between different river basins, dominated by Mount Cetona (1,148 metres in height). This provides endless possibilities for outings. You can find indications for a variety of theme-based routes on the website www.sarteanoliving.it. Ten or so go towards the Val d’Orcia, while the same number head off towards the Val di Chiana, a route that is linked to water and another that connected the Francigena and Teutonica.
